Hey, everyone :)

Having recently turned 21, I find my style evolving once again.
Today's look has been streamlined to reflect more of a utilitarian influence; with hints of early twentieth-century equestrianism with my vintage jodhpurs. I polished off the look by wearing a pair of black oxford dress shoes (sans socks for summer, of course).

Hey everyone!
Today I am beyond excited to post my very first boutique feature which focuses on a location that could not get any closer to my own back yard; DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY on South Granville, Vancouver BC.

Upon entering, I found myself instantly charmed by the shop's combination of rustic and salvaged decor (from the hand-picked vintage luggage to the industrial wrought-iron clothing racks), with  a modern and undoubtedly sophisticated take on a reclaimed industrial space. The polished concrete floors give way to a vast layout of hand-curated designers from the likes of James Perse, Theory, Vince (for both the guys and gals), Billy Reid, John Varvatos, Psycho Bunny, Steven Allen, Wings + Horns (for the gents), as well as Alice & Olivia, Diane von Furstenburg, Edun, Elizabeth and James, Haute Hippie, Nanette Lepore, Parker, Rebecca Taylor, and Smythe (for the ladies).

The combination of designers like John Varvatos and Wings + Horns speaks volumes to the shop's emphasis on the dynamic and confident lifestyle envisioned by and for their clientele. While classic cuts and quality hold true, the clothing still offers a refreshing breath of modernity.

This John Varvatos top offers an air of distinction, while still packing a punch: talk about a 'pop' of red!

The utilitarian quality of Wings + Horns offers a new perspective on youth, but doesn't forget about the gentlemen who still appreciate a classic piece and tailoring as well.

Spring into summer: (top) Billy Reid offers a rustic color palette and sleek tailoring; (bottom) Vince kicks summer into full gear with a shirt that is clearly tailored to the color-addicted fashionisto!

(above): Some of the women's selection; plenty of lovely spring/summer fabrics, prints, and colors here! (below): The beautiful women's window display featuring dresses from Alice and Olivia, and Rebecca Taylor.

Stay tuned for more updates and future projects with the lovely team at Diplomatic Immunity.

Hey everyone!
Today's outfit is based entirely around this amazing statement piece I had bought months ago during my travels through Asia. I finally got around to styling the top; keeping the pieces to a more subdued, minimal palette. I decided that in order to maintain a more seasonal aesthetic, I would pair the piece with a lighter-wash distressed jean (standard cloth), as well as sockless vans and a acid-wash denim cap.

Hope you guys enjoy, and don't forget to follow me on Instagram for more updates:

 Hey everyone!

Today is all about the summer suit; how this classic business-formal attire can be altered to accommodate a change in season! I layered a great striped polo with a satin blazer, as well as a pair of cuffed trousers and a trusty pair of VANS (sans socks for the perfect summer touch). Accessories provide a fun and modern touch: pocket square from John Henric, and bracelet from The Edgy Look.

Hope you guys enjoy! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram for more updates!

Hey everyone!

Today's look features two collaborations: John Henric & The Edgy Look.
I styled both pieces into a sort of downtown street-style-boy aesthetic, with a great pair of vintage paint-stained Levi's to polish off the look with the right amount of 'urban grunge'.

Hope you guys enjoy, and don't forget to follow me on Instagram!
